2. Downtown Events

The number of ongoing activities downtown are endless, and year ‘round. Whether it be ice skating in the winter or going to the Farmer’s Market in the summer, Town Square is very active. Live concerts and continuous programming all within walking distance. Combine that with year around Greenway activities, shows at The Empire, endless dining choices and the most vibrant nightlife in the city, and you find yourself asking “Why would we live anywhere but downtown Grand Forks?”

3. The Historic Charm

Being constantly surrounded by the historic buildings, beautiful architecture, and the ability to walk almost anywhere is a real mood booster when needed. The beauty and unique qualities of a great city are exemplified in a great downtown, which we have…..and it’s getting greater!

4. The River

We love and embrace the river. It is beautiful to gaze upon, affording numerous recreational activities to enjoy with friends and neighbors, and a great asset for our entire community to enjoy. Biking and walking on the Greenway in the summer is a blast.

5. Ease of Parking

Parking is easy and accessible, and always close to your destination. There is always parking available.

6. The Vibrancy

This is a downtown on the move, and you can feel the vibrancy. More and more people are discovering the endless benefits of downtown living, and there is more action every day. Combine that with the decreased need to drive and walk ability, and downtown is the place to work, recreate, play, relax, and, most importantly, live!
