The Empire Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for their production of The Moors, with performance dates January 30 through February 15. The company will be casting 1 male and 5 females, and all roles are paid. The audition will feature cold readings, and actors need only to attend one night of auditions, not both. Rehearsals typically take place on weeknights from 7:00-10:00pm. This production will be directed by artistic director Chris Berg.

About the show:
Two sisters and a dog live out their lives on the bleak English moors, dreaming of love and power. The arrival of a hapless governess and a moor-hen set all three on a strange and dangerous path. The Moors is a dark comedy about love, desperation, and visibility. “The Moors “ is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., a Concord Theatricals Company.
