ABOUT THE EVENT:
On September 25, the Longest Table welcomes 700 residents to sit down for a free meal in a welcoming environment with people they may not know, to foster stronger connections and exchange ideas.

SCHEDULE:
Table Captain Check-in: 5:00 sharp!

Guest checkin - 5:30 - 6:00pm in order to check in and get to your seat at the table.

Meal will be served between 6:15 and 7:00.

REGISTRATION:

The Longest Table is free and open to all; however, pre-registration is required to assist with planning efforts.

Guests will be placed randomly along the table. If you would like to sit with one specific person, please register together. Each child under 12 must register with an accompanying adult. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for groups larger than two to be seated together.

THE MEAL:

Dinner will be prepared by the chefs at Skies 322. There will be a regular option and a vegetarian option. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event we cannot accommodate other dietary restrictions. You are welcome to bring your own food if you have special dietary needs.

The Longest Table is organized by the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Region and the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals and underwritten by the University of North Dakota.

THE THEME:
Our theme in 2025 will collaboratively explore the interconnections between education and industry and their
impact on the community’s well-being and future The importance of connection, discussion, relationships, and community have never been more important. In 2025, the Longest Table will provide space for residents to exchange stories and share ideas about what we can do as a community to ensure that educational programs prepare individuals for meaningful careers, the economy supports local livelihoods, and industries are responsive to community needs.

LOCATION:
The event will be held at 1 Career Drive, the road in between Visit Greater Grand Forks's offices and the Career Impact Academy on Gateway Drive.
