Have you wanted to form a band? Play on a professional stage?

The Empire’s Build a Band program aims to be a transformative experience for musicians in the Greater Grand Forks area. Open to students of all ages and guided by two seasoned instructors, students will connect with our area’s musicians, hone their stage presence, and familiarize themselves with professional sound and light equipment.

Students will be placed into groups, forming their own band, and will work on songs provided by the instructors throughout this two week workshop.

The grand finale: An electrifying performance at an Empire Music Box concert – the culmination of the student’s practice and newfound skills!

Build a Band runs July 15-18 and 22-25 from 5:00-7:00pm each night.

Some instrument/music experience suggested, but not required.
