Selecting your event location can have as much effect on your success as the activities. We can help you find the perfect space downtown to be successful. From Town Square to pocket parks and more there are plenty of spaces to host your event!

From access to power to city applications, the logistics of creating events from the ground-up can be challenging. We are here to walk you through the process.

PRE-PLANNING

What are the resources and partnerships that you need to make your event happen? DDA staff are at the ready to brainstorm partnership opportunities and offer historical perspective.

STREET EVENTS

Downtown Forks has prominent and unique street-based activities. Our staff are experts at working with the City of Grand Forks and City of East Grand Forks to quickly and efficiently vacate streets.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Feed them and they will come. From partnering with existing restaurants, applying for alcohol permits, or finding the perfect food truck, let us help you feed your attendees!

MEDIA RELATIONS

Located at the center of our region’s economic development, downtown maintains positive relationships with all local media and can help you learn how to spread the word about your business or event.
